About Chin Academy
Chin Academy: Lifelong Learning Center provides accessible, academically responsible, spiritually formative, and ministry-oriented theological education for Chin communities in Myanmar, the diaspora in Norway and the United States, and all students who desire faithful Christian learning and service. Courses are taught live over Zoom and supported through our Moodle learning platform, primarily in Laiholh (Hakha Chin), with English used for source materials, terminology, and research., personal development, and more.

oUR aCCREDITATION STATUS
Chin Academy is a religious educational ministry and is not accredited or authorized to confer academic degrees by the government of the Republic of Korea or any other government. Our credentials are conferred on Chin Academy’s own institutional authority and are intended to be recognized by our affiliated churches, associations, and conventions.
Students seeking an accredited degree may pursue one through our partner, Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary (PBTS) in Baguio City, Philippines. PBTS’s programs are ecclesial degrees, accredited by theological associations in the Philippines and Southeast Asia rather than by a government body — a standard and respected model among independent theological schools across the region.
